1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using XRD Analyzer (the "Service"), hosted at xrd.raymsm.com, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, you should not access or use this site.

2. Description of Service

XRD Analyzer is a Progressive Web Application providing online utilities for powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) data analysis. Calculations, including peak fitting (Pseudo-Voigt), background removal (SNIP algorithm), and unit-cell based reflections simulation, are performed locally within your browser using Pyodide (WebAssembly). The service is provided entirely free of charge for academic, educational, and commercial purposes.

3. Disclaimer of Scientific Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we strive to implement industry-standard scientific equations (such as the Scherrer equation, Savitzky-Golay filtering, and Bragg reflections matrices) accurately, the developer (RayMSM) does not warrant the mathematical precision, completeness, or scientific correctness of any calculation results.

Crystallographic peaks fitting, strain analysis, and phase matches contain statistical margins of error and are highly dependent on parameters selected by the user. You are solely responsible for verifying the calculations, graphs, and export CSV/SVG files generated by the tool before referencing them in research, industrial processes, or publications. In no event shall RayMSM be liable for any scientific errors, data loss, or damages resulting from the use of this tool.

4. Academic Citation Guidance

If you use XRD Analyzer to perform analyses that are featured in published scientific literature, reports, or presentations, we request that you cite this tool. Providing citations helps us justify the continued development and maintenance of these open-access utilities.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not attempt to disrupt the performance of our servers, bypass connection filters, or abuse our worker endpoints (such as the COD database proxy). Automated scraping of the proxy route is strictly prohibited.

6. Modifications to the Service

RayMSM reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the portal at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any changes, updates, or cessation of the service.
